She received the Young Gynaecologist Award from the Asia Oceana Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2017 and was appointed as Associate Professor by Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia in the same year.

In 2016 she underwent Minimally Invasive Surgery training at Putrajaya Hospital and continued her fertility sub-specialist training at HUKM the following year.

Dr Salleha was awarded the MSc. in Health Sciences from the University of Warwick, UK in 2011 and specialist qualification (MRCOG) from RCOG in 2014.

Upon her return from the UK in 2010, Dr. Salleha has been accepted as a medical lecturer at the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and continues her clinical services in the Department of O&G Hospital Ampang.

She received her Diploma in Family Planning from RCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) in 2009.

After completing her training as a house officer at the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital, she moved to the UK in 2005 to continue her training in Obstetrics & Gynecology (O&G) and has worked at several hospitals in the West Midlands.
