He is a graduate of Penn State and obtained his medical degree from Des Moines University.

Following his OB/GYN residency at Cooper University Medical Center, he practiced obstetrics and gynecology for seven years before entering a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Chang is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He credits his osteopathic training for having encouraged his life-long interest in Asian medicine and alternative therapies, and he takes great pride in treating people as a whole, rather than as a set of lab values.
