Dr. Ramkrishna Mehendale is a former Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush Medical College.

Dr. Mehendale received his medical degree from Lokmaya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Bombay, India, and his PhD in Physiology with a focus in Reproductive Endocrinology from Kent State University.

Dr. Mehendale completed his residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

He completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

He formerly served as the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Office for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Program.

Dr. Mehendale’s procedural specialties are level II ultrasound, amniocentesis, fetal echocardiography, and 3D/4D ultrasound.
